1. Rentals – Cancellations & Refunds

-
Client-Initiated Cancellations: Refunds, if any, will follow the Owner’s stated policy.
-
Owner-Initiated Cancellations: If the Owner cancels a confirmed booking, the Client will receive a full refund of the rental amount paid.
-
Platform Service Fees: Boatter.com service fees and commissions are non-refundable unless required by law.
2. Sales – Refunds
-
The $19.95 monthly listing fee for boat sales is non-refundable once charged, even if the boat is removed or sold before the end of the billing cycle.
-
Boatter.com does not handle payment or delivery for boat sales; refunds for boat purchase payments must be resolved directly between Buyer and Seller.
3. Force Majeure
Boatter.com is not responsible for cancellations or non-performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or mechanical failures.
4. Dispute Resolution
-
Rental payment disputes must first be addressed directly between Owner and Client.
-
If Boatter.com processed the payment, we may review and determine refund eligibility based on documented evidence.
-
Boatter.com’s decision on platform-related refunds is final.
